Live Stats I Live Video

RICHMOND, Ky.
– Following two hard weeks on the road, the Eastern Kentucky University soccer team finally returns home this weekend to face Ohio Valley Conference foes Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State.

EKU (2-8-1, 0-1-1 OVC) will square off against Tennessee Tech on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and Jacksonville State on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

The Colonels are fresh off a hard-fought scoreless draw at Belmont on Sunday. Freshman goalkeeper Anna Hall made a career-high 14 saves to help Eastern earn its first point in the OVC standings. Hall's 14 saves are the most by any OVC player this season.

Sophomore Cassie Smith – boasting a team-best four goals on the year – will look to galvanize the Colonel attack this week.

TTU (2-9-0, 0-2-0 OVC) enters the weekend having dropped five consecutive games, including a pair of OVC matches to Murray State and UT Martin last weekend.

The Golden Eagles are paced offensively by Taylor Blazei, who has two goals and two assists on the year.

EKU is 6-3-0 all-time versus Tennessee Tech and has won four straight over the Golden Eagles dating back to 2010.

JSU (5-6-0, 1-1-0 OVC) defeated UT Martin last Friday before falling to Murray State on Sunday.

The Gamecocks – who play at Morehead State on Friday before traveling to Richmond on Sunday – are led by Courtney Hurt's seven goals this season.

Eastern is 6-2-1 all-time versus Jacksonville State and has not lost to the Gamecocks since 2006.
