RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will conclude the regular season by hosting in-state and Ohio Valley Conference rival Morehead State on Halloween Day at EKU Soccer Field.
 
Game time has been moved from 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
 
EKU (4-13-1, 2-6-1 OVC) defeated Eastern Illinois, 2-1, last Friday in Richmond. Freshman Logan Harvey scored the game-winner – her first-career goal – in the seventh minute of overtime to lift the Colonels to the dramatic victory. Sophomore Cassie Smith scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season in the win, tying the EKU single-season scoring record in the process.
 
Morehead State (9-5-5, 4-3-2) – the preseason OVC favorite – cruised past EIU, 5-0, last Sunday, snapping a streak of four straight games without a win. Jade Flory paces the Eagle offense with 12 goals and seven assists this fall.
 
EKU is 2-6-2 all-time versus Morehead State; however, the Colonels have won two of the last three in the series.
