Eastern Kentucky has held seven straight opponents to less than 70 points, including No. 18 Miami. Only three of 14 opponents have scored 70 or more against the Colonels this season.

Glenn Cosey threw an alley-oop pass to
Marcus Lewis on an in-bounds play. Lewis' dunk rose to No. 3 on Top-10 Plays. On Feb. 1, 2014 in Richmond, Cosey's 35-foot three-pointer with 0.4 seconds left gave Eastern a 79-78 victory and earned the No. 1 spot on Top-10 Plays. The shot completed a comeback from 10-points down with 3:57 left.
The Colonels (9-5, 1-0 OVC) began the road trip with a 66-58 victory at Tennessee-Martin on Thursday. Senior
Eric Stutz scored his 1,000th career point during the game, and in doing so became the 13th player in school history to record 1,000 points and 500 rebounds.
Corey Walden finished with a game-best 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting.
Denzel Richardson registered his second career double-double, finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four assists. Stutz finished with 13 points and six rebounds.
Walden is shooting 56.6 percent from the field this season. He has made 60.7 percent of his shots over the last seven games. He is the only player ranked in the top-10 in the OVC in scoring (3rd), field goal percentage (8th), assists (8th) and steals (1st).
Southeast Missouri is 7-9 overall and 1-2 in OVC play this season. The Redhawks are 2-5 in their last seven games and lost at home to Morehead State, 70-57, on Thursday.
Jarekious Bradley, a 6-foot-5 senior guard, leads the team in scoring (16.2 ppg). He earned second team All-OVC honors last season and was a preseason All-OVC pick this year. Nino Johnson, a 6-foot-9 senior forward, leads the team in rebounding (6.8 rpg) and contributes 10.3 points per game.
As a team, SEMO has made just 30 percent of its three-pointers this season, while allowing opponents to knock down 40 percent of their shots from deep.
The Redhawks shot 48 percent from the field against Morehead State, but went just 3-of-14 from long range. MSU had nine more rebounds and 16 steals. The Eagles turned 20 offensive rebounds into 20 second chance points. Isiah Jones, a 6-foot-4 walk-on guard, led SEMO with 20 points. Bradley had nine points and was ejected from the game late in the second half.
The last time these two teams met, Eastern Kentucky led from start to finish in a convincing 84-76 victory over Southeast Missouri in the OVC tournament quarterfinals on March 6, 2014. Walden paced Eastern with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting, five rebounds and three steals. Tarius Johnson added 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds. For SEMO, Bradley led four players in double figures with 18 points. Johnson chipped in with 10 points and 11 boards.
Eastern Kentucky leads the all-time series, 27-19. EKU has won four straight against Southeast Missouri and 12 of the last 14. The Colonels are 9-11 in games played in Cape Girardeau, but have won four straight on the Redhawks' home court.
