RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's basketball team will try to win its fourth consecutive game on Wednesday when the Colonels host Thomas More College at McBrayer Arena at 2:00 p.m.

Jarelle Reischel was named the OVC Player and Newcomer of the Week on Monday. The transfer from Rhode Island averaged 20.3 points-per-game and 9.5 rebounds-per-game in four games last week. He scored a career-high 37 vs. Longwood to go along with 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals.
- Freshman
Nick Mayo was named the OVC Freshman of the Week on Monday. He averaged 10.0 points-per-game and 3.8 rebounds-per-game last week.
- Junior
JaVontae Hawkins was named the National Mid-Major Player of the Week by College Sports Madness on Monday. He averaged 20.3 points-per-game, 4.3 rebounds-per-game and 3.0 assists-per-game in four games last week.
- EKU currently ranks 17th in the country in scoring offense (91.4 points-per-game). The up-tempo Colonels are averaging 100 points-per-game in four home games this season, all against Division I competition.
- The Colonels also rank sixth in the country in three-point field goal percentage (45.2) and 11th in the country in field goal percentage (52.8).
- This is the first all-time meeting between EKU and Thomas More.
- The Saints are led offensively by Daniel Williams (18.5 points-per-game) and Simon Clifford (18.0 points-per-game).
