JaVontae Hawkins combined to score 52 points in EKU's 87-81 loss at ETSU on Friday night.
- Reischel had 29 points and six rebounds in the loss. Hawkins just missed his first double-double as a Colonel, scoring 23 points and grabbing a career-high nine rebounds.
- Reischel (4th / 257 points) and Hawkins (10th / 232 points) are the only teammates in the country both ranked in the top-10 in the NCAA in total points.
- Reischel is the only player in the country with 250+ points and 100+ rebounds.
- Reischel ranks in the top-10 in the OVC in almost every major category: scoring (1st / 19.0 points-per-game), rebounding (5th / 7.9 rebounds-per-game), assists (6th / 3.7 assists-per-game), steals (2nd / 2.2 steals-per-game), field goal percentage (8th / 53.7), free throw percentage (5th / 83.5) and three-point field goal percentage (2nd / 52.6).
- EKU ranks in the top-20 in the country in scoring offense (19th / 85.7 points-per-game), field goal percentage (13th / 50.3), three-point field goal percentage (12th / 42.7), assists (7th / 219) and steals (6th / 106).
- This is only the third all-time meeting between EKU and WVU. The series is tied, 1-1. The Colonels defeated the Mountaineers, 93-91, on Feb. 15, 1979. WVU returned the favor, 74-67, on Dec. 30, 2012.
- WVU's (9-1) only loss came against Virginia, 70-54, on Dec. 8. The Mountaineers defeated Marshall, 86-68, last Thursday in Morgantown.
- Devin Williams has nearly averaged a double-double for WVU through 10 games, scoring 16.2 points-per-game and pulling down 9.5 rebounds-per-game.
