- The Colonels shot a season-low 38 percent (21-of-56) from the field and 27 percent (8-of-30) from three-point range on Saturday, but shot a season high 89 percent (24-of-27) from the free throw line.

Jarelle Reischel nearly had a triple-double in EKU's win on Saturday, recording 24 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.
- Reischel missed his first free throw attempt at Savannah State, but then sank 17 straight foul shots to close out the game. He currently ranks third in the country in free throws made (65) and fourth in the country in free throws attempted (80).

JaVontae Hawkins contributed 16 points at Savannah State and converted the decisive layup with 10 seconds on the clock. He has scored in double figures in all nine game this season, and he ranks 10th in the country in field goals made (63).
- Reischel (19.7 points-per-game) and Hawkins (18.8 points-per-game) are No. 1 and 2 in the OVC in scoring.

Isaac McGlone leads the OVC in three-point field goal percentage (61.9).
- EKU ranks sixth in the country in scoring offense (90.4 points-per-game), sixth in field goal percentage (52.4) and fifth in three-point field goal percentage (44.3).

Dan McHale will be facing his alma mater on Wednesday. McHale was a student manager at UK from 1998-2001 and won a national championship with the Wildcats in 1998. He graduated from UK in 2001 with a degree in business administration.
- Kentucky (7-1) was the top-ranked team in the country until falling at UCLA, 87-57, last Thursday. The Wildcats are by a trio of guards in Jamal Murray (15.3 points-per-game), Isaiah Briscoe (13.3 points-per-game) and Tyler Ulis (12.6 points-per-game).
