RICHMOND, Ky. – Four of the six Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis players won their matches in straight sets as the Colonels earned a 6-1 victory over Northern Kentucky Friday afternoon in the Greg Adams Tennis Center.

The Colonels (5-3) easily won the bottom three singles matches in straight sets. Freshman
Ramon van Flymen, who notched his sixth straight singles victory, also won in straight sets at No. 2 singles. Meanwhile, junior
Alex Álvaro rallied to take the top singles match in a third set tiebreaker.
Eastern Kentucky wraps up its indoor portion of the 2015 schedule Sunday, March 1 with a home match against Samford. Match time is set for 9 a.m.
