RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis announced its first four events of the 2025-26 season Wednesday afternoon.

The Colonels will open the year Sept. 12-14 at the Louisville Invitational, hosted by the University of Louisville.
EKU will return home later in the month to host the D1 Showdown on campus Sept. 26-27. Fans are encouraged to follow EKU men's tennis on social media for court updates and potential schedule changes.
In October, the Colonels will compete in two tournaments, beginning with the ITA Regional in West Lafayette, Indiana, hosted by Purdue University on Oct. 9-14. They will close the fall slate at the Atlantic Sun Fall Masters Qualifier in Jacksonville, Florida, on Oct. 24-26.
Earlier this week, EKU finalized its 2025-26 roster, announcing the additions of four international signees in
Filip Avdeev,
Joao Barreto,
Ilie Cazac, and
Marek Nano.
The Colonels return six players from last year's squad, which finished 9-17 overall and 2-6 in conference play. Key returners include ASUN All-Conference selections
Fernando Bulnes and
Nuno Pinheiro, who are back for their senior seasons.
