RICHMOND, Ky. – Fresh off an exciting home win over Austin Peay, the Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will hit the road this weekend to face OVC foes Tennessee Tech and Morehead State.

- EKU will face Tennessee Tech on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. The Colonels will then travel to in-state rival Morehead State for a 1:00 p.m. game on Sunday.

- Eastern enters the weekend with a record of 1-1-0 in OVC play. The Colonels were edged by Murray State, 2-1, last Friday.

- Redshirt freshman Haley Kemper scored the game-winner off a throw-in in the 58^th minute to beat Austin Peay on Sunday. It was her first career goal.

- Sophomore goalkeeper Anna Hall earned her first shutout of the season on Sunday. She made seven saves in the win.

- Tennessee Tech is currently 2-0 in OVC action. The Golden Eagles went on the road last weekend and beat Belmont, 1-0, and Jacksonville State, 2-1.

- Mary Francis Hoots and Kalyn Pruett pace the TTU offense with two goals each.

- EKU is 7-3-0 all-time versus Tennessee Tech. The Colonels have won five consecutive games over the Golden Eagles dating back to 2010.

- Morehead State is 1-1-0 in OVC play. The Eagles lost to Jacksonville State, 2-1, last Thursday before beating Belmont, 1-0, on Sunday in overtime.

- Dani Wilson is the catalyst of the Morehead State offense with five goals and three assists on the year.

- Morehead State leads the all-time series with EKU, 7-2-2.
