Live Stats vs. Liberty | Live video vs. VirginiaLYNCHBURG, Va. – The EKU men's tennis team will travel to Virginia this weekend for dual matches against Liberty University and the University of Virginia.
The Colonels will face off against the Flames of Liberty University on Saturday. Saturday's match is scheduled for 11 a.m. at The Sports Racket's Indoor courts and will be the Flames' season opener, after last weekend's matches were canceled due to inclement weather.
Following Saturday's match, EKU will travel eastward to take on the defending national champions and the No. 1 ranked team in the country, the University of Virginia. Sunday's match will be the first of the season for the Cavaliers.
Virginia has won five of the last eight International Tennis Association's indoor titles and currently has four players ranked in the ITA top-125.
Sunday's match is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar's Head Sports Club.
