Murray State: Live Stats | Live Video | Live Tweets

- EKU (8-2-0, 3-0-0 OVC) continued its hot streak with a dominant 4-0 win over in-state rival Morehead State last Thursday.

- The Colonels cruised to victory thanks to two goals from senior Cassie Smith, and goals from freshman Kayla Childs and junior Emmi Carroll.

- Smith is now the all-time leading scorer at EKU with 18 career goals, and she is tied with junior Jordan Foster for the team lead this season (four). Carroll is right behind them with three goals on the year. Childs, sophomore Tara Claus and freshman Erin Torrence have two goals each this fall.

- Foster notched two assists in the win over Morehead State. With seven games to play in the regular season, she has already tied the EKU single-season record for assists (four).

- Junior Anna Hall notched her seventh shutout of the year in the victory over the Eagles. Hall ranks second all-time at EKU with 12 career shutouts, and her seven shutouts this season currently rank in the top-10 in the country.

- The surging Colonels have outscored their opponents 17-2 during the eight-game winning streak. The streak is the third longest winning streak in the country, behind only South Carolina (11) and Southern California (nine).

- Sophomores Kacy Eckley and Haley Kemper and the rest of the Colonel backline has EKU ranked sixth in the country in shutout percentage so far this year.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS

- Austin Peay (7-4-1, 2-0-1 OVC) is led by junior Kristin Robertson, who has scored an OVC-best 10 goals on the season.

- The Govs are tied for third in the OVC after defeating Morehead State and UT Martin, and tying Southeast Missouri.

- EKU leads the all-time series with Austin Peay, 5-4-2, and the Colonels won last year's match in Richmond, 1-0. Kemper scored the game-winning goal in the 57th of that match.
