RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky University will kick off the exciting 2016-17 athletics season by hosting 'Big E Live', presented by Aramark and EKU Dining Services, on Tuesday, September 6, on the floor of Alumni Coliseum.
 
A reception and silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and live auction at 6:30 p.m.

Live auction items up for bid include a Gatlinburg condo, a trip to New York City with the men's basketball team, a trip to Cancun with the men's basketball team, a trip to Nashville with the football team, a Naples, Florida condo, a suite at Lucas Oil Stadium for an Indianapolis Colts game, a round of golf at Valhalla and a round of golf at Oakmont Country Club.

An array of silent auction items are also up for bid (list is not exhaustive).
 
All Colonel fans are welcome to attend and meet EKU student-athletes, coaches and administrators.
 
'Big E Live' is an ode of gratitude to Colonel Club members, season ticket holders and all Colonel fans for their generous support.
 
Revenue from all auctioned items at the event will go to support EKU teams and their student-athletes through scholarship support, facility enhancement and providing for unique operational needs.
 
There is still time to RSVP for 'Big E Live', as well as join the Colonel Club and buy football season tickets before the first home game on Thursday, September 8!
 
Admission to 'Big E Live' is $25. Dress code is business casual.
