RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's and women's basketball teams will host Tennessee Tech on Saturday for Senior Day at McBrayer Arena.
The men's game is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. tip, with the women's game to follow at 4:30 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW
- Despite having four Colonels score in double figures for the fifth straight game, EKU fell at Jacksonville State, 71-61, Wednesday.
- EKU (9-18, 6-9 OVC) was outlasted in the first meeting in Cookeville, Tennessee, 53-51.
- O'Bannon (13.6 ppg),
Alexus Cooper (12.8 ppg), and
Shavontae Naylor (12.5 ppg) rank in the OVC's top-20 in scoring. Meanwhile, O'Bannon's 6.8 rebounds-per-game ranks 10th in the league and Naylor's 6.0 rpg is 15

th in the conference in field goal percentage.
- TTU leads the all-time series, 68-25 and has won two of the last three meetings. The Golden Eagles won last year's meeting in Richmond, 77-72.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Tennessee Tech is 10-18 overall and 7-8 in OVC play. The Golden Eagles have lost their last three and four of their last five.
- Junior guard Yaktavia Hickson's 16.5 ppg leads the Golden Eagles and is fourth in the conference. Senior forward Treyvonna Brooks also averages double digits with 11.0 ppg.

Isaac McGlone, will be honored before the game. McGlone's career rankings at EKU: 6th in games played (124), 10th in steals (151), 11th in three-pointers (143) and 13th in assists (236).
- EKU (11-19, 4-11 OVC) erased an 11-point second-half deficit to storm back and beat Jacksonville State, 68-65, on Thursday evening in Richmond.
- Sophomore
Nick Mayo enters Saturday's game only six points shy of becoming the 35th Colonel to join the 1,000-point club. He would be the first EKU player ever to reach 1,000 points as a sophomore.
- Mayo scored 22 points, grabbed nine rebounds and matched a career-high with three steals in Thursday's win over Jacksonville State. He ranks fifth in the OVC in scoring at 18.1 points-per-game. He also ranks in the top-15 in the league in rebounding (6.4 rebounds-per-game), assists (2.9 assists-per-game), blocks (1.4 blocks-per-game), field goal percentage (49.6%) and free throw percentage (77.8%).

Asante Gist scored 16 points, matched a career-high with six assists and committed only one turnover in Thursday's win over JSU. Gist ranks in the top-10 in the OVC in scoring (15.7 points-per-game) and assists (3.8 assists-per-game).

- Tennessee Tech (12-18, 8-7 OVC) has won three of its last five games, but dropped a 73-68 decision at Morehead State on Thursday night.
- Aleksa Jugovic paces the Golden Eagles at 15.5 points-per-game.
- This is the 134th meeting between EKU and Tennessee Tech. The Colonels lead the series, 73-60, and defeated the Golden Eagles, 79-66, in Cookeville back in January.
