RICHMOND, Ky. – Mouhamed Camara, a former 4-star recruit who redshirted at Louisville this past season, will transfer to play at Eastern Kentucky University.
 
Before joining the UofL program, the Dakar Senegal native attended the NBA Academy Africa and was rated as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports.  He logged multiple games of three or more blocks and steals in the 2024 NBA Academy Winter Tour.  He recorded four blocks and eight steals against the NBA Global Academy, and had three blocks and three steals against the NBA Latin America Academy in December of 2024.
 
"Mo is a phenomenal addition with elite size, length and athleticism," EKU Head Coach A.W. Hamilton said.  "He can guard every position on the floor and is a high level rim protector.  Mo is a perfect fit in our system, and we're excited about the unique skills he brings to both sides of the ball." 
 
The 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward competed in the FIBA AfroBasket qualifiers in 2025 as a member of Senegal's Senior National Team.
