MURRAY, Ky. – The EKU women's basketball team will take on Murray State University Monday in the Colonels' second straight Ohio Valley Conference game away from McBrayer Arena.
Monday's tip is scheduled for 7 p.m.
WHAT TO KNOW
- EKU (8-15, 5-5 OVC) narrowed an 11-point fourth quarter deficit to two but was unable to complete the comeback in a 66-56 loss at UT Martin on Saturday.

- Eastern Kentucky leads the all-time series, 58-29, over the Racers. The Colonels have won the last six meetings.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Murray State (12-11, 4-6 OVC) has lost its last five conference games, after opening league play 4-1.
- Junior Ke'Shunan James leads the OVC with 19.5 points-per-game. Her 7.1 rebounds per outing is eighth in the league.
- At 73.8 ppg, the Racers are the second highest scoring team in the conference. Defensively, Murray State averages more than nine steals per contest.
