CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Eastern Kentucky men's tennis team didn't lose a single set on its way to a 7-0 victory over Eastern Illinois on Friday.
 
In its first Ohio Valley Conference match of the season, EKU (12-5, 1-0 OVC) swept the doubles matches.  Parth Aggarwal and Romain Stoffels clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
 
In singles play, Ramon van Flymen at No. 2 and Sebastian Mueller at No. 1 lost just three games each on their way to straight set victories and a 3-0 lead for the Colonels.
 
Stoffels clinched the match with his 6-3 and 6-3 win over Ferdinand Ammer at No. 6 singles.
 
Eastern Kentucky closed out play with singles victories by Diego Asis, Aggarwal and Jan Kuehling.
 
The Colonels will conclude their road trip with a non-conference match at Southern Illinois on Saturday at noon.
