MIAMI, Ohio – The Eastern Kentucky University softball team is set to take on Miami (Ohio) in a mid-week affair on Tuesday.
 
The Colonels (6-9) marked wins in 3-of-5 games this weekend at the 2017 Eagle Classic in Statesboro, Georgia against Delaware State (9-0), South Carolina State (14-2) and Presbyterian (4-2).
 
Johnkyria Alston claimed rights to all four runs against Presbyterian after notching two round-trippers, one of which was a three-run bomb, while the other was a solo shot.
 
The current Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week holds the third place spot in the league for home-runs (5).
