RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 conference loss to visiting Tennessee Tech University on Saturday.
 
The Golden Eagles (8-6, 3-0 OVC) won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to go on top 1-0.  TTU then posted straight set victories at No. 6, No. 3 and No. 5 singles to clinch the match.
 
The Colonels (13-7, 2-1 OVC) pushed the visitors to three sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. 
 
Ramon van Flymen rebounded from a 7-6 setback in the first set to tie the match with a 6-2 win in the second set at No. 1 singles.  However, Eduardo Mena won the third set 6-4.
 
Sebastian Mueller jumped out to the early lead with a 6-3 win in the opening set against Marcos Bernardes at No. 2 singles.  Mueller couldn't stave off the comeback, falling 6-4 and 6-4 in the second and third sets.
 
Eastern Kentucky continues its four-match home stand on Friday against Belmont at 2 p.m.
