EKU Soccer Travels To Take On IUPUI

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will travel to Indianapolis to take on IUPUI on Sunday. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW
 
- EKU (0-2-1) dropped a road matchup, 3-1, to Kentucky on Thursday night.
 
- Jordan Foster recorded her first goal of the season in the 83rd minute against the Wildcats. The senior forward set a new program record last year for goals in a season with eight.
 
- Senior goalkeeper Anna Hall notched a season-high six saves against Kentucky, including one late in the game where she was drawn out from the net in a one-on-one situation.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
 
- The Jaguars are coming off their first win of the season, defeating Evansville, 1-0, on Friday night.
 
- Freshman Valentine Pursey scored her first career goal in the 68th minute for the game-winner.
 
- This will be the first matchup between the Jaguars and the Colonels.
 
UP NEXT
 
Eastern will head to Cincinnati to take on the University of Xavier. First touch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
