CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's basketball game is on the road to face Chattanooga tonight at 7 p.m. ET at Mckenzie Arena.
WHAT TO KNOW
- EKU (0-1) dropped its season opener to Marshall, 105-77, on Wednesday night at McBrayer Arena.
- Senior
Nick Mayo opened the season with 26 points and a career-high 15 rebounds on Wednesday.
- Mayo's 15 rebounds vs. Marshall are the most by a Colonel since Jon Bentley had 15 vs. Morehead State on Feb. 3, 2004.
- With the 26 points vs. Marshall, Mayo moved past Eddie Bodkin and Carl Brown to No. 6 on EKU's all-time points list (1,608). The EKU record is 1,832.

Kelvin Robinson finished with 13 points and seven rebounds, while freshman

Lachlan Anderson continued to prove he'll be a factor this season with his showing against Marshall. Anderson posted career highs in points (8), minutes (21), rebounds (5), blocks (1) and steals (2).
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Chattanooga (1-0) went on the road and defeated Charlotte, 80-69, in its season opener on Tuesday.
- Jerry Johnson Jr. led four Mocs in double figures with 18 points.
- Chattanooga went 10-23 last season.
- This is the fourth all-time meeting between EKU and Chattanooga. The Colonels lead the series, 2-1. In their last meeting, EKU defeated UTC, 74-63, in Richmond on Feb. 4, 2014.
