RICHMOND, Ky. – The women's basketball team returns home to take on Kentucky Christian
on Wednesday.
This will be the first of three Toy Drive Games at EKU. Fans can receive FREE admission with the donation of a new, unopened toy. One ticket per donation, limit one per person.
Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. The game will air live on ESPN+.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- EKU leads the all-time series 1-0.

THE COLONELS
- Eastern Kentucky came up short on the road against MAC foe Akron, 63-54, on Saturday.

Shay Solomon paced the Colonel offense with a team-best 18 points and eight rebounds. She averaged 19 points per game in the team's two contest last week on 58 percent shooting.

Abby Wright leads the team with 11.4 points per game this season.

Catie Kaifes had a career-best 12 rebounds to go with nine points against Akron.
- EKU ranks fifth in the conference in three-point field goal defense.
- The Colonels out rebounded the Zips 47-39.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Kentucky Christian defeated Johnson University, 67-63, on Saturday.
- The Knights are led by Jordan Holt and Sydney Foster.
- Holt leads the team with 13.9 points per game to go along with 4.5 rebounds per game.
- Foster is averaging 13.4 points per game along with a team-best 7.1 rebounds per game.
- Shelby Slone came off the bench and recorded 15 points and five rebounds in KCU's win over Johnson University.
- KCU is allowing 80.3 points per game on the year.

Eastern Kentucky will stay at home this weekend when the Colonels welcome George Mason to McBrayer Arena on Sunday. Tip is scheduled for 2 p.m.
