HOUSTON, Texas – The Eastern Kentucky University softball team lost a pair of games on Saturday afternoon at the Houston Round Robin.
EKU fell to Dartmouth in game one and Houston in game two.
Dartmouth (3-8) ran off early in game one. Three hits, one of which being a home run, pushed three runs across the plate giving the Big Green the 3-0 advantage.
The squad added another run in the third to grow the lead, 4-0.
Destinee Lizzmore notched a solo bomb in the third for EKU's lone hit of the game, but it wasn't enough as the Colonels fell to Dartmouth, 5-1.

Emily Corbitt cranked a long ball over the left field wall to put Eastern on the board first against Houston (16-8), 1-0.
Murphy McRoberts held the Cougars at bay, throwing six scoreless innings.
Zoe Mihalicz and Carly Robinson each notched singles in the top of the seventh and moved around the bases to tack on another run heading into the final frame.
Houston battled to stay alive, plating just enough to push the game into extra innings, 2-2.
A Cougar grand-slam called game in the bottom of the eighth with UH on top, 6-2.
Eastern (16-9) returns to action tomorrow to close out the Houston Round Robin with games against Dartmouth at 11 a.m. and Houston at 1:30 p.m.
