RICHMOND, Ky. – Head Coach Johnna Fouch and the Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team have announced the addition of Ellyn Brown.
 
Brown, an Escondido, California native, is a middle blocker from Vista Murrieta High School. She will join the team during the 2019 season.
 
Ellyn was a four-year varsity player at Fallbrook High School before transferring to Vista Murrieta her senior year. She was named first team all-league two years in a row. Brown was chosen to the all-tournament team for the Firebird classic. She went 18-1 in four years for Viper Volleyball Club.
 
"I'm very excited to announce the addition of Ellyn to our EKU volleyball program. She has tremendous athletic ability that can help bring depth to the team," said Fouch. "She comes from a top high school and club program. With that experience alone, I know that she will make a direct impact right away."
 
Brown was a San Diego premier tour semi-finalist for the California Beach Volleyball Association. She finished first in the Southern California national qualifier.
