Gertrude Hood Field
In 2017, Gertrude Hood Field underwent a complete renovation.  The transforming renovations include new team dugouts and a climate controlled press box and improved field drainage. The newly renovated grandstand features a brick facade and accommodates more than 400 spectators.  

Softball Indoor Facility
A new team locker room, indoor hitting facility and coaches offices was recently completed adjacent to Gertrude Hood Field.  The indoor hitting facility provides the team with an area to practice during any weather conditions.

  Bratzke Academic Center
The Chad Bratzke Student-Athlete Academic Success Center is designed to aid EKU's student-athletes in all facets of their academic pursuits.  


  Strength & Conditioning Center
In October 2016, EKU announced a massive strength and conditioning center renovation in partnership with Life Fitness.  The dramatically expanded and renovated first-class facility was completed in February 2017.  


Nutrition Bar
Eastern Kentucky University's student-athletes now benefit from a nutrition bar that is part of the new athletics strength and conditioning center.
