JONESBORO, Ark. – Eastern Kentucky women's golf finished its fourth week of competition this season at the Lady Redwolves Classic hosted by Arkansas State, ending the two-day event with an 8th place finish on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Senior Elisa Orduna Shackleton ended the event with a season-high T7th place in the field shooting a three-round total of 214 (-2), the second-best finish of her career.
 
Junior Rylea Marcum (T33rd) and senior Maddie Hensley (T38th) were the next two Colonels in the final standings. Marcum was one-shot under-par in round one and Hensley was two-shots under in round two.
 
Alice Daag ended the event with a three-round score of 225 (+9) for T43rd place and Mary Keenee Marrs finished T68th with 230 (+14).
 
Individually, freshman Elizabeth Tucci finished T55th shooting rounds of 74-76-77 to end at 227 (+11)
 
EKU is slated to continue Fall action on Monday, Oct. 24th at the Charlotte Invitational in Concord, N.C. at Cabarrus CC. The two-day event is the first tournament The University of Charlotte golf program has hosted in its young five-year career.
