RICHMOND, Ky. – Coming off a three-game win streak, Eastern Kentucky women's basketball begins the ASUN Conference slate with two home games this week against Kennesaw State on Monday, January 2 at 7:00 p.m. ET and Stetson on Thursday, January 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET inside Baptist Health Arena.
EKU Athletics is offering "$3 Tickets for 2023" against Kennesaw State, fans are encouraged to purchase the discounted tickets to open the New Year on the

Monday's game against Kennesaw State marks year two in the ASUN for the Colonels, EKU is coming off a 7-9 overall record in its inaugural season, including an appearance in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.
Fans unable to be in attendance on Monday and Thursday can view the game against Kennesaw State and Stetson on ESPN+, the official home of all ASUN basketball games during the 2022-23 season. Fans can also tune into
92.5 WEKY with Wes Chandler on the call.
The Colonels begin conference play on a three-game winning streak over Army West Point, Union College, and Alice Lloyd College. In EKU's last two games against in-state programs, the Colonels recorded consecutive 100-point victories for the first time in program history.
EKU eagerly awaits
Antwainette Walker's debut in ASUN play, the redshirt-senior is averaging 21.5 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.9 steals per game, all leading the conference. The Lisle, Ill. product currently sits sixth in the country in double-doubles this season at eight.
Marisssa Mackins enters conference play with five games under her belt, sitting out last season after transferring from conference foe North Florida. The Durham, N.C. native sits at 17.2 points per game, including five games in double-figure scoring. With eight made threes against Union, Mackins was one shy of the EKU program record.
Graduate
Danielle Rainey recorded EKU's first triple-double in program history with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in a 110-49 win over Alice Lloyd College.
Eastern Kentucky's only member on the ASUN Pre-Season All-Conference team,
Alice Recanati, has led the Colonels in assists in 11-of-13 (.846) of games this season. The redshirt-sophomore sits at 9.5 points and 4.8 assits a night, with 63 assists on the season, Recanati is third in the ASUN and 36th nationally.
