2022 ASUNÂ Women's Golf All-Academic Team
ATLANTA, Ga. – Two Eastern Kentucky University women's golfers --
Rylea Marcum and
Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir -- were chosen to the ASUN Conference Women's Golf All-Academic Team, and Kristinsdottir was voted as the ASUN Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Kristinsdottir has a 4.0 grade-point-average while seeking a master's in business administration. She compiled a 3.923 GPA as an undergraduate student majoring in finance.

On the course, Kristinsdottir finished the season first in the ASUN with a 71.76 stroke average and three tournament wins this season. The Reykjavik, Iceland native was a 5-time pick as ASUN Golfer of the Week.

Marcum is carrying a 3.753 GPA while majoring in nursing. She is second in ASUN with two tournament wins this season. The Georgetown, Kentucky native is second on the team, and 18th  in the conference, with 74.42 stroke average. She shot a program record 64 at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, which is also the lowest round by an ASUN golfer this season. Marcum has carded 10 rounds at par or below and has posted five top-10 performances. She garnered ASUN Golfer of the Week recognition on Oct. 14.

EKU will play in its first-ever ASUN Conference Championship starting Sunday. The three-day event will be contested at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia.
