2021-22 ASUN All-Academic Team

ATLANTA, Ga. – Eastern Kentucky University's Willis Gaer was chosen to the ASUN Conference Men's Golf All-Academic Team.
 
Gaer has a 4.0 grade-point-average as a graduate student pursuing a master's in business administration.  He compiled a 3.392 GPA as an undergraduate while seeking a double major in risk management and insurance, and finance.
 
On the course, Gaer has a team-best 72.97 stroke average.  The Des Moines, Iowa native finished first at the Jackrabbit Invitational.  During the 2021-22 season he shot 11 rounds at par or below and had three top-10 performances.
 
EKU will play in its first-ever ASUN Conference Championship starting Sunday.  The three-day event will be contested at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens.
