RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team's ASUN Conference schedule has been released, the league announced on Thursday.  
 
The 2022-23 conference slate consists of 18 total games, nine at home and nine away.
 
EKU opens up the 2023 calender year with a pair of home contests against ASUN competition. The Colonels take on Kennesaw State on Jan. 2 to start conference play. The two teams squared off in the first round of the ASUN Tournament last year in Richmond, with the Colonels coming out on top, 68-54.
 
Eastern Kentucky then welcomes in Stetson to McBrayer Arena on Jan. 5. The two teams met last year in DeLand. The Colonels hit the road for the first time on Jan. 7 when EKU travels to take on Central Arkansas in Conway.
 
EKU has rivalry week after that, as the Colonels will do a home-and-home with Bellarmine on Jan. 12 and Jan. 14. The two squads will square off in Richmond first before playing game two at Bellarmine. Eastern Kentucky wraps up the month of January with four games against Florida schools. The Colonels host Jacksonville (Jan. 19) and North Florida (Jan. 21), before wrapping the month up in Florida against Florida Gulf Coast (Jan. 26) and Stetson (Jan. 28). 
 
Eastern Kentucky opens up February with a pair of home contests against Lipscomb and Austin Peay. The Colonels take on Lipscomb on Feb. 2 before wrapping up the weekend against Ausitn Peay on Feb. 4.
 
EKU hits the road for five of its last seven games of the regular season. The Colonels take on Kennesaw State (Feb. 9) and Jacksonville State (Feb. 11) before returning home for a pair of games against North Alabama (Feb. 16) and Central Arkansas (Feb. 18).
 
EKU finishes the regular season with three-straight road games against Queens (Feb. 23), Liberty (Feb. 25), and North Florida (March 1).
