NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After gaining an ASUN point its last three matches, Eastern Kentucky soccer looks to wrap up a two-match road swing on Thursday against Lipscomb and Sunday at Austin Peay.
Thursday's match against Lipscomb (6-4-1, 3-0-0) is primed for a 7:00 p.m. ET kickoff and can be viewed on YouTube, fans wanting to see the Colonels play in the Music City can purchase tickets
here. Sunday's match in Clarksville, Tenn. against the Austin Peay Govs (3-5-3, 1-2-0) will be aired on ESPN+.
Eastern Kentucky (5-2-2, 1-0-2) heads into this week's Tennessee tilt picking up positive results in its last six contests, the third longest streak in program history. The Colonels are also on a three-match swing which has saw the team earn five ASUN points, placing the team in 5th-place in the conference standings.
EKU is coming off a road match against in-state opponent Bellarmine that ended in a 0-0 draw. Senior
Myla Sharpless led the Colonels with two shots, one on frame off a free kick, despite the scoreless effort.
Junior
Kara Haas made her season debut against the Knights, logging 15 minutes as a substitute on the backline.
