RICHMOND, Ky. – Micah Davis, a 6-foot-2 all-state guard from Greenwood, Indiana, signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play basketball at EKU.Â

Davis earned all-state recognition after averaging 17.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.7 steals as a junior for Franklin Community High School in Franklin, Indiana. He was selected to the Junior All-Stars team.

Last season Davis led Franklin in scoring, assists, rebounds and steals. He was first team all-county and first team all-conference.

As a sophomore in 2021-22, Davis helped Franklin win the sectional and reach the region championship game. He averaged 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game while receiving honorable mention all-state recognition. Davis was the Grizzly Cubs' team MVP, chosen first team all-county and first team all-conference.

Davis averaged 13.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game as a freshman in 2020-21.

The 2023-24 season continues Friday at home for the Colonels. Tip-off against Wilberforce is scheduled for 7 p.m.
