RICHMOND, Ky. – EKU football saw another ticket sales increase during the 2023 season after posting significant increases in 2022. Additionally, EKU drew successful attendance numbers once again.

The Colonels drew nearly 60,000 fans during the regular season, with an average of 11,655 per game. On the season, EKU ranked 17th in FCS football in average attendance.
 
The largest crowd in 2023 at Roy Kidd Stadium was for the home opener this against Western Carolina with 13,597 fans in attendance.
 
Since the 2021 season, EKU has held above an 11,500 minimum average.
 
Football season ticket sales increased 11% this season after a 32% increase last season. In addition, the number of season tickets sold increased by 23% in comparison to last season. Single game sales also saw a significant increase during the 2023 season with a 30% increase.
 
Total football ticket sales revenue has increased nearly 80% since the 2019 season.
