EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The EKU women's tennis team (3-6) won their second straight match against Southern Indiana (2-4) by the score of 5-2 on Friday at the Evansville Tennis Center.
To begin the dual match, the Colonels took two doubles matches from the No. 1 and No. 3 courts to enter singles with a one-point advantage.
In singles play,
Masha Fedenko ended her losing streak by beating the Screaming Eagles' No. 1 in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.
After that,
Emmeline Polevoi and
Daniela Hernandez won in singles play to clinch the match for the Maroon and White from the No. 3 and No. 4 spots in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1.
Madison Hill won her singles match from the No. 6 position in one super set, 8-2.
