RICHMOND, Ky. – As the No. 3 seed, Eastern Kentucky University will host No. 6 seed North Alabama on Tuesday in the ASUN Tournament quarterfinals at Baptist Health Arena.

INSIDE THE SERIES
- UNA leads the series 2-1. Last season each team won on its home floor. This season, the Lions came to Richmond and snapped EKU's 12-game home winning streak, beating the Colonels 98-93 in overtime on Feb. 18.Â

Tayshawn Comer hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime.Â
Devontae Blanton led the Colonels with 27 points.Â
Michael Moreno recorded 16 points and a team-leading 11 rebounds. KJ Johnson scored 31 points and Daniel Ortiz finished with 20 for the Lions.

THE COLONELS
- EKU (19-12, 12-6 ASUN) secured the No. 3 seed and a quarterfinal home game by beating Jacksonville, 56-52, on the final day of the regular season. The Colonels were 13-2 at home this season, with one of those losses coming to North Alabama.

-Â Eastern Kentucky University leads the ASUN Conference with an average home attendance of 3,463 per game.

- The Colonels are first in the conference, and seventh in the country, in rebounds (39.97/game). EKU also leads the ASUN and is second in the nation with 13.71 offensive rebounds per game. EKU went 13-5 this season when out-rebounding its opponent.

- Â Blanton is sixth in the ASUN in scoring (16.42 ppg), fifth in field goal percentage (44.8 percent), eighth in rebounding (6.39 rpg) and 14th in free throw percentage (70.3).

Isaiah Cozart is first in the ASUN, and ninth in the country, in blocks (2.42 bpg). He is seventh in the NCAA in total blocks (75). Cozart is also first in the league in rebounding (7.19 rpg).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  North Alabama finished the regular season 18-13 overall and 10-8 in the ASUN. After beating EKU in overtime for their fifth straight win, the Lions ended the season with home court losses to Kennesaw State (79-66) and Jacksonville State (92-83).  Â

- UNA is third in the ASUN in shooting at 46.9 percent. The Lions are second in the league in 3-point shooting, hitting on 37.8 percent from deep.

- Ortiz, a 6-foot sophomore guard, leads the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game.  Jacari Lane (13.3 ppg), a 6-foot freshman guard, and Johnson (12.8 ppg), a 6-foot-3 junior guard, provide a balanced scoring attack. Johnson hasn't played in the last two games.

-Â Damian Forrest, a 6-foot-9 junior forward, is averaging a team-best 6.6 rebounds per game.

- Lane (26) and Ortiz (24) combined for 50 points and 18-of-34 shooting (53 percent). UNA shot 48 percent in the game, but allowed JSU to shot 49 percent and was out-rebounded 41-23.
