Fedenko Wins Her First Career Singles Match In Loss To Dayton

MIAMISBURG, Ohio – The EKU women's tennis (1-4) lost against Dayton (2-2) by the score of 5-2 on Friday at the South Regency Tennis Center.
 
To begin the dual match, the Flyers took all of the doubles courts to claim the doubles point.
 
In singles play, Masha Fedenko earned her first career singles win in straight sets from the No. 1 spot, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4.
 
Emmeline Polevoi won her singles match in a three-set thriller from the No. 4 position after losing in the first set, 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, 6-2.
 
Dayton won the other four singles courts to clinch the match.
