CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis (1-5) team falls to NKU (3-2) by the score of 4-3 in a rematch on Saturday at the Five Seasons Sports Club.
The Colonels got off to a hot start, as they won two doubles courts to claim the doubles point.
After
Elena Tairian lost in two sets,
Emmeline Polevoi was the first Colonel to earn a point in singles, winning in straight sets from the No. 4 spot, 6-1, 6-2.
Masha Fedenko continued her singles-winning streak in straight sets from the No. 1 position, 6-4, 6-3.
The Norse won the next three singles courts to clinch the match.
