RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis team (5-15, 1-4 ASUN) fell at home against Central Arkansas (9-8, 2-3 ASUN) by a score of 6-1 on Thursday at the Tom Higgins Outdoor Courts.
To begin the dual match,
Emmeline Polevoi and
Sasha Parkhomenko won their doubles match from the No. 2 court, 6-4. However, the Sugar Bears won the other two courts to claim the doubles point.
In singles,
Daniela Hernandez won her match in straight sets from the No. 4 spot, 6-3, 6-1.
However, the Sugar Bears won five singles matches to clinch the match for Central Arkansas.
