ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The EKU women's tennis team (4-9) drops their final non-conference match to South Carolina State (2-2) by the score of 4-2 at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Center on Saturday.
 
To begin the dual match, the Bulldogs won two doubles matches to enter singles play with a one-point advantage.
 
In singles, Masha Fedenko won her second consecutive singles match in straight sets from the No. 1 spot, 6-2, 7-5.
 
Elena Tairian won her singles match from the No. 2 position in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3.
 
South Carolina State won three singles matches to clinch the match for the Bulldogs.
