MOBILE, Ala. – EKU men's golf completes the 2022-23 season with a 13th place finish at the 2023 ASUN Men's Golf Championship on Wednesday evening at RTJ Magnolia Grove.
 
EKU finished the two-day event with am 861 team score, 13 strokes higher than in-state foe Bellarmine.
 
The Colonels were led by junior Pablo Carrascosa Vivas who finished 39th in the field with a three-round total of 214 (-2). The Chiclana de la Frontera, Spain native was the only EKU student-athlete to record an eagle in the tournament. He led all Colonels on par 4 holes shooting even par throughout the event.
 
Sophomore Reese Sexton followed on the EKU scorecard with a 215 (-1) total and tied for 40th place. He was top 20 in the field on par 5 holes shooting six under.
 
Freshmen Camden Robertson (T55) and Justin Begley (57th) rounded out the remainder of the card with totals of 218 (+2) and 219 (+3), respectively. Begley tied with Sexton for six under on par 5 holes just days after being selected to the ASUN All-Freshman team.
 
Gehrig Sexton entered the field in round three and shot even par as a sub for Malik Dao, who carted rounds of 77 and 72 in EKU's 36 holes on Tuesday.
