CONWAY, Ark. – Isaiah Cozart recorded a double-double and
Michael Moreno hit six 3-pointers as Eastern Kentucky University rolled to a 86-63 road victory over Central Arkansas on Thursday.

Cozart finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. Moreno went 6-of-9 from deep and 7-of-10 overall on his way to 20 points.Â
Devontae Blanton added 10 points, seven assists and four rebounds.

The Bears scored the first six points of the game and EKU trailed by one after a jumper from reigning ASUN Newcomer of the Week Tucker Anderson with 15:41 to play in the first half. However, UCA scored just three points over the next eight minutes.Â

A jumper from Cozart started the Colonels' 15-3 run. Moreno followed with a 3-pointer from the left wing. The senior finished the run with a lay-up to give the visitors a 24-13 advantage.

Central Arkansas closed the gap to six, but Moreno put an end to a 6-0 run with the 300th 3-pointer of his career. The Bears cut another 12-point deficit to nine, 34-25, on a free throw from Anderson at the 2:16 mark. UCA didn't score again in the first half.

The Colonels (7-9, 3-0 ASUN) rolled off the final eight points of the period, including a 3-pointer from
Collin Cooper in his return to his home state and previous school.Â
John Ukomadu's tradional 3-point play sent EKU to the locker room in front by 17, 42-25.

After another three from Moreno pushed the Colonels ahead 46-27 early in the second half, the Bears rolled off eight unanswered. Anderson's lay-up with 17:00 remaining made it an 11-point game, 46-35. UCA never got any closer.

Moreno put a stop to another run with another 3-pointer. That bucket from the left wing also started a 12-4 run that essentially put the game away. Moreno's fifth triple and a dunk from Cozart finished the run and handed EKU a 58-39 advantage with 13:26 on the clock.

Turner Buttry's 3-pointer from the top of the key after an EKU offensive rebound gave the Colonels a 24-point lead, 75-51, with 7:14 to play. The Colonels' largest lead of the game of 25 came with 1:03 left in the game when Cooper hit the second of two straight 3-pointers.

EKU shot 50 percent from the field for the game and 43 percent from behind the arc (13-for-30). The Colonels out-rebounded the Bears by 13, 43-30.

Anderson and Elias Cato scored 15 points each for Central Arkansas (5-13, 1-1 ASUN).
