LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team concludes a three-game Atlantic Sun Conference road swing facing Bellarmine on Saturday afternoon at Freedom Hall.
Saturday's game is scheduled to tip at 1 p.m. EST and tickets are available for just $5 on
Ticketmaster.
Those not able to make the 83-mile trek down I-64 can catch the game streamed live on ESPN+ or over-the-air on 92.5 WEKY (Richmond area) with Wes Chandler courtside on the call.
EKU is 0-2 to begin ASUN Conference play with two previous losses on the road against Lipscomb and Austin Peay last week. Like EKU, Bellarmine went 0-2 on the same road trip.
The Colonels continue to receive votes (8) towards the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid Major Top 25 poll, one vote ahead of Lipscomb and below No. 5-ranked FGCU.

Greg Todd is two wins away from 700 career wins at the college and prep ranks.
- Guard
Alice Recanati is 25 assists away from breaking the program record for career assists (487) set by Angie Cox in 1992. In four seasons in Richmond, Recanati has averaged over 3.5 assists per game, including a season-high 5.1 per game last year.
- Recanati is also 27 points away from becoming the 25th player in program history to join the 1,000-point club.
- Wing
Raphaela Toussaint is also 50 points away from totaling over 1,000 in her career.
- Guard
Antwainette Walker continues to lead EKU and the ASUN Conference in points per game (20.7). She's a two-time conference player of the week recipient this season.
- As of Thursday, Jan. 11, EKU leads the ASUN in assist/turnover ratio, assists per game, turnover margin, and forced turnovers per game. The Colonels are top-70 in the nation in those respected categories.
All-Time vs. Bellarmine
- Despite only being 83 miles apart, EKU and Bellarmine meet on Saturday for just the 13th time.
- EKU owns the head-to-head series 8-3 and is 3-1 over the Knights in conference play.
- Last year in an 85-79 win against BU at home, Walker recorded a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 44 percent from the floor. Two Colonels recorded 20+ points.
Scouting the Knights
- Bellarmine is 5-9 on the season and 0-2 in league play. Three of the Knights' five wins have come against DI opponents (Evansville, Wofford, and Ohio).
- The Knights enter Saturday's game dropping four of their last five games, broken by a 70-66 win over Ohio at home.
- EKU alum Chancellor Dugan ('82) has led the Bellarmine program for the last 12 seasons with an 166-157 (.514) overall record. In 33 seasons as a head coach, Dugan has amassed 486 wins.
- Winchester native Hayley Harrison is leading the Bellarmine squad with 14.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. She's the only Knight averaging double-figure points.
- Bellarmine's Gracie Merkle, who captured the ASUN Freshman of the Year Award last season and was named to the Preseason All-ASUN team this year, has not appeared in any of the Knights' 14 games thus far. Merkle's status for Saturday's game is questionable.
