JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Winners of their last three Atlantic Sun Conference games, EKU women's basketball (14-5, 3-2 ASUN) departs for the Sunshine State to face Jacksonville on Thursday and North Florida on Saturday.
 
Both games in Duval County will be available to stream live on ESPN+ with Thursday's matchup against Jacksonville scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and Saturday's game slated for a 2 p.m. tip. 
 
Fans can also find both games over-the-air on 92.5 WEKY (Richmond area) with Wes Chandler courtside on the call beginning 30 minutes before tipoff.
 
EKU has won its last three ASUN Conference games over North Alabama, Central Arkansas, and Bellarmine to move its league record to 3-2 before this road trip.  Entering the week, EKU currently sits in fifth place in the league standings.
 
During the Colonels two-game home stand, Alice Recanati became the 25th member of the 1,000-point club and head coach Greg Todd secured his 700th career win in the prep and college ranks.
 
EKU continues to receive votes (8) towards the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid Major Top 25 poll released last week.  The Colonels are the second highest ranked team in the ASUN Conference, only behind No. 5 FGCU.

- What to watch?  Recanati is nine assists away from becoming EKU's program leader in career assists.  The record is held by Angie Cox (487 assists) set during the 1992 season.
- Antwainette Walker continues to lead EKU and the ASUN Conference in scoring with 19.5 points per game over 14 games.  She's recorded 19 or more points in 3-of-4 conference games.
- Forward Jasmine McGinnis-Taylor enters the week with back-to-back 10 rebound performances last week. Including an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double over UCA.
- EKU recorded 50 rebounds in the team's win over North Alabama, its second time in three seasons in the ASUN having 50 or more rebounds against a conference opponent.
- Forward Sierra McCullough continues to lead EKU and the ASUN Conference in rebounding with 8.2 boards per game in her 16 games played.
- EKU is second in the conference in scoring offense (72.3 ppg) behind FGCU and is fifth in scoring defense (61.4 ppg) the fifth-best team in the league.  EKU has a 10.9 margin of victory average over all opponents this season.
 
Series History Against Jacksonville
- EKU is 1-1 against Jacksonville all-time and is seeking its first win against the Dolphins on the road.
- Last season EKU defeated JAX, 79-70, in front of 1,431 fans inside Baptist Health Arena.  Four Colonels scored in double figures, led by Walker who dropped 19 points and 8 rebounds.
 
Series History Against North Florida
- EKU is 2-2 against North Florida all-time and have won its last two meetings over the Ospreys, both coming last season, by scores of 83-71 and 71-41.
- Last season on the road, EKU had four players in double-figure scoring and two players with double-doubles.  Danielle Rainey, who is now playing professionally in Serbia, led EKU with 22 points.  Followed by 21 points, 11 rebounds from Walker and 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists from Recanati.
