RICHMOND, Ky. – EKU's men's basketball team will face Eastern Illinois and Jacksonville State in Berea, as the complete non-conference schedule was released today.
 
Non-conference road games against East Tennessee (Nov. 8), Clemson (Nov. 12), Pittsburgh (Dec. 11 and Louisville (Dec. 28) were announced previously.  As was three games at the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida. 
 
EKU will play four games at the Seabury Center on the campus of Berea College while construction continues on the renovation of Baptist Health Arena.  The first phase of the Baptist Health Arena renovation will be completed prior to the start of the Atlantic Sun Conference schedule, which begins for the Colonels on Jan. 9 against North Florida.
 
The 2024-25 season will begin against Alice Lloyd College in Berea on Nov. 4.  EKU will face Campbellsville University-Harrodsburg in Berea on Dec. 6.  Games against EIU and Jax State at the Seabury Center are scheduled for Dec. 14 and Dec. 21 respectively.
 
Two additional non-conference road games are scheduled for Nov. 19 at Chicago State and at Troy on Dec. 1.

The Colonels won the 2023-24 Atlantic Sun Conference Regular Season Championship, the program's first regular season conference title in 45 years.  Head coach A.W. Hamilton was chosen as the ASUN Coach of the Year.  He is the first coach in program history to be named conference coach of the year twice.
