CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Having won its last two matches without losing a set, EKU will take to the road for Atlantic Sun Conference matches at Queens and West Georgia this weekend.

The Colonels will play at Queens on Friday at 6 p.m. ET. The match against West Georgia is set for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Both matches will air live on ESPN+.

THE COLONELS
- EKU (12-7, 3-3 ASUN) has won two straight matches without losing a set, including a win over Florida Gulf Coast at home on Sunday. FGCU came into the match ranked No. 53 in the NCAA RPI and unbeaten in five ASUN matches.

Josie Schmitendorf was chosen as the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. It is the third time this season she has received the recognition. In two matches last week, the Huntley, Illinois native averaged 5.00 digs per set.
