RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's soccer team, who already locked up a spot in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament field, will wrap up the regular season hosting Bellarmine on Friday at the EKU Soccer Field.
 
Friday's match is scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m. EST.  EKU looks forward to welcoming back its women's soccer alum for Alumni Day at the pitch.  Admission is free for fans looking to catch the regular season finale.  Those not able to be in attendance can find the match streamed live on ESPN+.
 
Match 19: EKU (9-7-2, 6-3-1 ASUN) vs. Bellarmine (5-10-2, 4-5-1 ASUN)

Last week, EKU earned one point across two matches on its Jacksonville road trip against JU and North Florida.  The Colonels scored one goal in each match from midfielders Maddy Murphy and Nerea de Diego.
 
As of Thursday, EKU is No. 5 in the ASUN Conference tables with 19 points and is searching for a victory to be in contention for one of the four host seeds in the field.  Regardless of Friday's result, EKU can't go lower than the No. 6 seed in the tournament and can get to as high as No. 3.
 
Scouting Bellarmine
The Knights enter Friday's contest after dropping both games in the Jacksonville road trip by 2-0 results. Senior midfielder Emma Nicholson leads the club with seven goals this season and has struck 50 percent (22-for-44) of her shots on target.  With 13 points in the ASUN tables, BU has qualified for its first conference tournament since 2021.
 
History vs. Bellarmine
Friday's match is the fourth meeting between the in-state foes since Bellarmine joined the DI ranks in 2019.  The series is tied a 1-1-1 and EKU claimed the last meeting in the series with a 1-0 win in Louisville last season.
