RICHMOND, Ky. – Winner takes all, EKU women's basketball and Lipscomb will battle for the No. 4 seed in the 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon inside Baptist Health Arena.
Saturday's game is also Senior Day for a 9-member class including

Saturday's game is scheduled to tip off at 1 p.m. EST with Senior Day festivities beginning before the start of the contest. Tickets are available for purchase starting at just $5

The winner of Saturday's game between EKU (21-9, 9-6 ASUN) and Lipscomb (16-12, 9-6 ASUN) will secure the No. 4 seed and play on March 9 in the 2023 ASUN Championship. The loser of Saturday's game can claim either the No. 5 or No. 6 seed depending on the outcome of Austin Peay at Bellarmine playing at the same time. EKU cannot fall lower than the No. 6 seed in the field.
EKU is coming off a 63-55 loss to Austin Peay at home on Thursday, while Lipscomb suffered an 80-74 loss on the road at Bellarmine.
Ivy Turner led the Colonels with 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting.
EKU Notes & Statistics
- With a win over North Alabama on the road, EKU clinched a berth to the ASUN Championship starting on March 8, its third appearance in as many years in the league.

Antwainette Walker continues to lead EKU and is second in the ASUN Conference in scoring, averaging 18.0 points per game.

Alice Recanati leads the ASUN with 4.5 assists per game and 134 assists on the season, she joined the ASUN's top 25 list in career assists last game against Austin Peay.

- Thursday's game is the 8th meeting between EKU and Lipscomb, the Colonels own the all-time series 5-2 and are 3-1 against the Bisons at home.
Scouting the Bisons
- Lipscomb defeated EKU earlier this season by a score of 64-59 in Nashville to open conference play, EKU was without Walker for the game.
- The Bisons have split their last four conference games with wins over North Alabama and Central Arkansas.
- Junior guard Claira McGowan leads the team with 13.1 points per game scoring 20 or more points in three of her last five games, including 37 points against North Florida.
