RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team (7-11, 0-1 ASUN) lost its first Atlantic Sun Conference match against Austin Peay (5-5, 1-0 ASUN) on Friday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
To begin the dual match,
Sasha Parkhomenko and
Madison Hill won their doubles match from the No. 3 court, 6-1. The Governors won their doubles matches from the top two courts to take a one-point advantage.
Marilou Cote won her singles match in straight sets from the No. 3 spot, 6-3, 6-4.
The Governors won five singles contests to clinch the match.
