CONWAY, Ark. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team (9-12, 2-2 ASUN) dropped its match by a score of 5-2 against Central Arkansas (9-8, 1-2 ASUN) on Friday at the UCA Tennis Courts.
 
To begin the dual match, the Sugar Bears won their doubles matches from the No. 1 and 3 courts to take a one-point advantage.
 
Emmeline Polevoi earned a straight-set victory in singles from the No. 4 spot, 6-4, 6-0.
 
Marilou Cote won her singles match in a three-set thriller from the No. 3 position, 3-6, 7-5, 10-6.
 
Central Arkansas won four singles contests to clinch the match.
