RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team (7-10, 0-0 ASUN) fell to Southern Indiana (3-6, 0-0 OVC) by a score of 4-3 in its final non-conference match on Friday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
To begin the dual match,
Marilou Cote and
Emmeline Polevoi won their doubles match from the top court, 6-2. The Screaming Eagles won their double matches from the bottom two courts to take the one-point advantage.
Cote earned a straight-set victory in singles play from the No.2 position, 6-1, 6-3.
Masha Fedenko won her singles match from the No. 1 spot, 6-4, 6-2.
Mariia Triska dominated in her singles match in straight sets from the No. 6 court, 6-1, 6-2.
Southern Indiana won three singles contests to clinch the match.
