RICHMOND, Ky. – For the fifth consecutive season, the Eastern Kentucky University women's soccer team secured a berth in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament with a 0-0 draw against Austin Peay on Wednesday afternoon at the EKU Soccer Field.
With 15 points in the league standings, EKU (9-3-5, 4-2-3 ASUN) clinched a spot in the ASUN Tournament field for the fifth straight year, tying the program record for consecutive postseason appearances set from 2008 to 2012.
The Colonels outshot the Governors 18-7 overall and 8-5 on goal in Wednesday's scoreless result. Sophomore midfielder

Silvia Shirey had multi-shot performances in the draw.
Freshman goalkeeper
Jordan LeVasseur recorded her fifth shutout of the season, collecting five saves to bring her season total to 91, the seventh-most in a single season in program history.
Austin Peay (0-11-6, 0-6-3 ASUN) was paced by forward Ellie Dreas, who registered four shots on goal in 82 minutes. Goalkeeper Lauryn Berry turned in another strong performance, matching her season high with eight saves for the fourth time in her last six outings.
EKU will close out the regular season on Saturday, hosting ASUN Gold Division champion and current league leader Lipscomb at noon at the EKU Soccer Field.
Due to Homecoming festivities across campus, Saturday's match will not be streamed on ESPN+. Admission is free for all fans.
